CIUM Taiji (Tai Chi) Workshop
The workshop will teach the 24 forms of Taiji (太极) that enables beginners, old and young, to concentrate on and appreciate the essential principles of Taiji of effortless movement, relaxation and awareness of the mind and body as one.
Taiji Workshop Fall 2016
The CIUM Taiji Workshop (10 classes) will be offered again in the fall 2016 semester! The traditional Yang Style Taijiquan 16 form will be taught this semester. Please note that the fall workshop is open to the U-M affiliates only at this time (U-M students, faculty, and staff). For inquiries, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration: Not needed at this time. The class is open to all.

Sunday, 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. | October 2 – December 11, 2016 (subject to change)
*Our first class on October 2 will begin at 2 pm, followed by a special qigong workshop at 3 pm.
*No class on November 13 & November 27
Jiancheng Liang has been practicing traditional Chinese martial arts for about 20 years. In recent years, he has been teaching Taiji at local communities such as Canton, Ann Arbor, and Novi.
Nainan Zhang is Master Liang’s Taiji student. She has been practicing Taiji for 5 years.
